My series 'Arborum sudaria' was awarded Honourable Mention in the contest "Transversalidades - Fotografia sem Fronteiras" 2021 for the theme Natural heritage, landscapes and biodiversity.
Organized by the CEI (Centro estudios ibericos, Polytechnic Institute of Guarda, University of Salamanca and University of Coimbra), Photography without Borders is a project that began in 2011 with the objectives of taking advantage of the aesthetic and pedagogical value of photography to enhance territories with less visibility and to foster dialogue between territories, people and institutions that are dispersed throughout the planet. The 2021 edition of the "Transversalities - Photography without Borders" contest achieved significant quantitative and qualitative results, with a total of 4,618 images.
